Lecture 1. Júlio Fabris:
The Physics of Black Holes
We recommended to give a revision to the following topics: General Relativity, the regularization of metrics (Kruskal's form) and Reissner-Nordström's solution.
Lecture 2. Renée Hložek:
Cosmological constraints with the microwave sky
We recommended to bring a laptop. The exercise will be perfomed on Python notebooks.
Also, here are the workbook requirements to make sure that things can run on your computer:
-
Download and install Anaconda 2.7 Python
-
Launch a jupyter Notebook
-
Download and open the FFT into notebook file from the CMB Analysis github repository that illustrates how these notebooks work and gives a review of Fourier transforms and Convolutions [for help on git, see the GitHowTo tutorial
-
Read and run the introductory notebook
Please, give it a try to the latter before the workshop so we can be ready to go on the first day.
Mini Lecture. Luciano Casarini:
Non linear matter power spectrum with Dark Energy
